Circle Of Love

This is my second project using Queenscraps November Kit. I love that they have included some die-cut card stocks in this kit. This layout is on another wedding photograph of mine which is about 8 years ago...lol!
Here are the steps.
1) Use the yellow Bazzill card stock as the base for this page. Ink the edges with vintage photo distress ink.
2) Add the green die cut stock from My Little Yellow Bicycle to the middle of the page. Use a white pen to doodle around it and highlight the flourishes on the left of it.
3) Cut a rectangular strip from the reverse side of "the Hunt" pattern paper and distress it's edges using the scissors distressing technique. Ink it with brushed corduroy distress ink and paste it at the bottom of the page.
4) Add a strip of ribbon from Prima (included in the kit) on top of the strip above and add a tag (use My Little Yellow Bicycle Vita Bella Fresh Verse stickers mat it onto the yellow Bazzill card stock and ink the edges with vintage photo distress ink) on it's left end.
5) Cut out a scalloped circle piece from the magenta Bazzill card stock and ink the edges using black soot distress ink. Cut out another circle piece from the "the Hunt" pattern paper and ink it's edges using vintage photo distress ink. Attach both pieces together and paste it onto the lower right of the page. Use a black pen to doodle another circle on it.
6) Cut another strip with a scalloped edge from the "Inamorato" pattern paper. Distress the edges and ink it with black soot distress ink. Paste it slightly overlapping both pieces above. Hand stitch a line on the upper half of this piece and a diamond line design on the lower half of it.
7) Cut another rectangular piece from the yellow Bazzill card stock using a decorative scissors and ink it using vintage photo distress ink. Use it to mat the photograph at a diagonal angle. Distress the edges f the photograph using the scissors distressing technique.
8) Stitch a rectangle overlapping the photograph and it's matting.
9) Cut two wiggly strips out from the Bazzill Just the Edge card stock and highlight it using a white doodling pen. Use them as the stem for the flowers.
10) To create the bigger flower , cut out a flower using any flower template (just use any normal flowers) from the "Inamorato" pattern paper and cut out the middle of each petal (ink the edges using vintage photo distress ink), a circle piece using a decorative scissors from "the Hunt" pattern paper (ink the edges using black soot distress ink), a medium flower from the magenta card stock (ink the edges using black soot distress ink) and a small flower from the the "Michiavelli"pattern paper (ink the edges using vintage photo distress ink). Curl the petals using scissors or twizzer and use some liquid pearls and stickles to embellish it.
11) For the smaller flower, cut a flower from the "the Hunt" pattern paper and cut out the middle of each petal (ink the edges using vintage photo distress ink) and a smaller flower from the "Inamorato" pattern paper (ink the edges using vintage photo distress ink). Curl the petals using scissors or twizzer and use some liquid pearls and stickles to embellish it.
12) Use another My Little Yellow Bicycle - Vita Bella - Fresh Verse stickers and mat it onto the yellow card stock (cut it using a decorative scissors in circle). Ink the edges using vintage photo distress ink and doodle some scallops on it using a black pen.
13) Cut a bird from the "Riviera" pattern paper and ink it with vintage photo distress ink.
14) Lastly, use another My Little Yellow Bicycle - Vita Bella - Fresh Verse stickers and mat it onto the magenta card stock and ink it using black soot distress ink.
Hope you all like this second project. Will be uploading some pics during my workshops at The PACS in my next post before I continue with my third project.

Beautiful. Your directions make it sound so simple but I know you spend a lot of time on each artistic work of art. This is fantastic.
